Ciao Italia!

Although our hearts are always in New York, there's nothing like taking a little vacation to relax, recoup, and discover new inspirations. Two weeks ago, we were lucky enough to get a chance to stay with LoGo's parents at a rustic villa that they rented outside of Ostuni, on the Southern coast of Italy. Here are a few highlights from the trip:
LoDo picking poppies in our backyard olive grove

LoGo taking a break in Balenciaga sunglasses and Mango swimsuit bottoms

Tanning together on the side of the villa with what quickly became our vacation carryall: a Colette x Opening Ceremony tote bag

LoGo taking in the beautiful, rocky beach of Puligano al Mare

We were digging the hand-drawn, olive tree menus at Antimo Ristorante, just down the street from us en route to the town of Ceglie Messapica

Every menu had a unique pen & ink sketch on the front - a great idea for DIY stationary or decorations

The food at Antimo Ristorante...as equally appealing as the menus

We're still working off the antipasti and wine that we indulged in for the ten days we were away...but it was definitely worth it!

Spring Shades

One of the best things about Spring in New York (besides the improved weather) is finally getting a chance to break out some new shades. Here are some of our favorite trends:
Vintage-inspired shades on LoGo in McCarren Park

You can't go wrong with classic Ray-Bans, here on LoDo in Chicago

LoDo, looking beach-bound in some retro sunnies

Between the two of us, we probably have about 30 pairs of sunglasses. But that's not to say we couldn't use any more! Some of the ones we're pining after:

Abby Lee in some amazing Spring 2011 Fendi glasses, c/o Stockholm Street Style

Burberry's Brights Collection, shot by Mario Testino, c/o Fashion Gone Rogue

Love the round frame and reflective lenses on these shades from Prism Sunglasses in London

What kind of shades are you rocking this Spring?
